Fused Glass Picture Frame Workshop at AMFA in Little Rock
The design starts with a choice: how to arrange cut glass into a pattern for a photo frame. At AMFA’s Fused Glass Picture Frame Workshop, participants develop that arrangement with decorative glass pieces and work with an instructor to plan, assemble and finish their own frame.
A frame built around an individual pattern
This is a making class, not just a demonstration: the announced outcome is a one-of-a-kind frame shaped by each participant’s choice of pattern. The sequence moves from cutting and arranging to embellishing, with an experienced glass artist guiding the work through its final stages.

One session in Windgate’s studio program
The workshop is part of the Windgate Art School at AMFA, which offers studio instruction in glass as well as drawing, painting, ceramics, metals and woodworking. The workshop is at Windgate Art School, Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts, 501 East Ninth Street, Little Rock, AR 72202. AMFA lists free on-site parking and Little Rock METRO Route 6 service at Commerce Street.
